 \nThe service of installation is a ritual of reverence that formally recog
 nizes our commitment and covenant as a community and a settled minister. I
 t recognizes that we have chosen a shared future together and that we prom
 ise to care for the special relationship between minister and congregation
  through all the seasons of our human lives. The Installation isn’t some
 thing the congregation does for the minister\; rather\, it honors and cele
 brates the promises you are making to one another as you knit yourselves i
 nto shared ministry. \n\nThe Committee on Shared Ministry has thought car
 efully about our journey as a congregation and has chosen the theme “Nou
 rishing Each Other\, Embracing Our Future” for the service. This theme i
 s theologically rich\, a reminder that the divine is incarnate among us\, 
 in a beloved community\, and that we must nourish the community with prese
 nce\, patience\, love\, joy\, and creative hope. Embracing our future mean
 s looking ahead with confidence in our covenant and shared leadership\, gu
 ided by our life-saving\, life-affirming Unitarian Universalist values. To
 gether\, we will move our mission boldly and bravely into the world!
