“At home with UUFD”

Anyone who considers their own sense of spirituality as personally unique and assumes everyone else feels the same about their perspective, is at ease with their beliefs in the company of Unitarian Universalists.  So many who discover the unchallenged freedom from dogma and enthusiastic exploration of diverse philosophies respond with, “I’ve been a Unitarian all of my life and didn’t know it!”

The inner sense of finally finding “home” is the unconscious gift bestowed by a community presuming the inherent worth and dignity of every person.  Spiritual growth within the congregation is fed by each individual’s search for truth and meaning. Being a part of that organic process allows each participant to experience life less as an observer and more as an integral contributor to the interdependent web. It is that palpable active involvement in creating spirit within the Unitarian, Universalist Fellowship of Durango that makes it so compelling!
