Like many Unitarian Universalist congregations, UUFD has child dedication ceremonies for infants and children. These ceremonies, led by the minister and/or director of faith formation, offer a blessing for the new life, express the parents’ hopes, and invite a promise by the congregation to support and nurture this child.
