What We Are Doing

We are always striving to expand ways of creatively living our mission to Love courageously. Inspire spiritual growth. Work for justice. Whether through worship, serving others through social justice work, caring for one another, or learning in Faith Formation classes and activities, we aim to touch hearts, touch minds, connect and make our world a better place.  Take a look at some examples…and join us in making a difference!

UUFD volunteers work with Durango Food Bank and Manna Soup Kitchen to serve those in need
We regularly support and participate in social justice events in the community such as this Climate March

Annually our congregation has a weekend retreat at Pinesong, a lovely place along the Los Piños River that owners and UUFD members Ken and Lois Carpenter generously make available.  For many members and friends it’s the highlight of our year.
