Minister

One of roles of ministry, and in particular the professional minister, is to serve as a resource for pastoral care to members and friends of the congregation. Sometimes, that might be when you are facing a difficult time in your life, or it might be when you feel ready to join the fellowship. The minister can provide a listening ear, be a spiritual resource, or help you make a financial decision about your commitment to the congregation. The minister can also help you determine the area in which you might like to serve, or coach with the ministry you are already doing here at UUFD.

When you or a relative are ill, or are in need of spiritual support, please contact our Interim Minister:  (Barbara Coeyman at intmin@durangouu.org)

Caring Team

The mission of the Caring Team is to uphold the principles of Unitarian Universalism by providing a caring and helpful response to those in need of physical, spiritual, or emotional support. Volunteer members of the congregation offer their care and wisdom to lend a hand when people are ill, or otherwise in need of help. They can pay a visit, connect you with community resources, provide transportation, bring by a casserole and remind you that you are part of a larger community of care and love. Please contact caringteam@durangouu.org»
