Notes from the Social Justice & Responsibility Team

TURN IN YOUR “GUEST AT YOUR TABLE” DONATION BOXES: Please return your boxes to us in January. All donations go to the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee.

SOUP DRIVE! Manna Soup Kitchen is collecting cans of soup to stock its free market. Please drop off cans in the collection box as you enter the sanctuary on Jan 21, Jan 28, or Feb 4.

FROM THE ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE TEAM: You may have noticed a slight twist to our regular Affirmation, expanding our realm of attention from serving human need to the needs of all beings, and the planet that sustains us all. The EJT would like to know your thoughts about this. Submit reactions to the e bin at the back of the sanctuary, or talk to Tom Miller, Stephen Guy, or Robert Winslow.

FREE DOCUMENTARY SCREENING “COMMON GROUND”: February 8th, 6pm-8pm, FLC Vallacito Room; February 22nd, 6pm-8pm, Bayfield Library. This is a captivating film about regenerative agriculture and soil health. Following the screening, Joe Wheeler, a regenerative rancher from James Ranch, will conduct a Q & A session.
