Recently we learned the Grief Center, a nonprofit providing help to underserved in the Four Corners area, is urgently seeking funding to expand their services. They are seeing a large increase in referrals as they begin to see those affected by loss to COVID, a recent upsurge in deaths by suicide, and support for those connected to the shooting in Boulder.
The UUFD Social Responsibility and Justice Coordinating Team donated $1000 from our Disaster Relief and Development Fund on behalf of the congregation to support this important service.
